Krishnan, starring Kathir and Miyasree, the film “Poorveekam” is a socially conscious work that celebrates the history of Tamils who have been locked up. With the work of the film completed, work is currently underway to release it in theaters.
Agriculture is the backbone of our Indian country. For two generations, young people have migrated from their homelands and completely migrated for education and work and are currently living in the city. The film has emerged as a powerful work that tells the story of the young generation migrating to the city, our culture, lifestyle, and the greatness of agriculture, and the beauty of agriculture that has been abandoned.

Today, not only in Tamil Nadu but all over the world, agricultural land is decreasing… but the population is increasing. If this situation continues, food shortages will be rampant in the future… Therefore, an individual or the government should try to protect agricultural land and… whether educated or layman… king or uncle… whoever he is, he should engage in agriculture at least one day a week… If everyone engages in agriculture in this way, wealth will increase.. life will also prosper.. This is what we have said very deeply in this film called Purveekam.
They have made the film a beautiful work that everyone from children to adults can enjoy with their families.
Kathir plays the hero in the film. Miyasree plays the heroine. Bose Venkat, Sangili Murugan, Ilavarasu, YSD Shekhar, Susan, Sri Ranjani, Shasna play important roles.
The film has been shot in Mayavaram, Thanjavur, Ariyalur, Chennai and its surrounding areas.
The film has three songs. It is noteworthy that the film’s audio release was released by the film crew with a very different set of farmers.
With the entire work of the film completed, the theatrical release work is going on in full swing. The announcement regarding the theatrical release date will be made officially soon.
