‘Ramam Raghavam’ is a film produced by Slate Pencil Pictures, directed by debutant director Dhanaraj Koranani and starring Samuthirakani. Raghu is releasing the film across Tamil Nadu on behalf of GRR Movies. It is about an (un)ordinary father. The pre-release ceremony of the film, which will be released on February 21, was held in Chennai. At this ceremony, ‘Saattai’ director Anbazhagan, ‘Sangathalaivan’ director Manimaran, ‘Vellai Yaani’ director Subramania Siva, ‘Chithiraich Sevvanam’ director Stunt Silva, ‘Writer’ director Franklin, ‘Mr. ‘Manickam’ director Nanda Periyasamy, ‘Thalaikutthal’ director Jayaprakash, Thambi Ramaiah, director Malayan Gopi, director Karthik, Bigg Boss winner Muthukumaran, actors Deepak and Harish along with Samuthirakani, director Dhanaraj, producer Prithavi Polavarapu, heroines Moksha, Pramodini, lyricist Murugan Mantram and other film crew participated.
Speaking at the event, producer Prithavi said, “This film talks about the bond between a father and a son. After watching this film, those who watch the film will call their father and say ‘I miss you’.”
Speaking, director Nanda Periyasamy said, “Samuthirakani turned me from a stone into a gem. Just as Akalikai got life from Rama, she got life from me. She is a wingless goddess. He would hold everyone’s hand and lift them up. When I watched the trailer of ‘Ramam Raghavam’, my father came to my mind like lightning. This is the success of this film,” he said.
Speaking, Director Subramania Siva said, “Hello to all the beloved ones. Rama means fame; Raghav means son. Anyone can live as a mother. Since the mother is in the womb for ten months, motherhood is in everyone. It is natural for a man to live as a mother. But it is penance for a man to become a father. At the age of 40, a person’s face becomes the face of his father. In his childhood, my face was the face of my mother Amudhavali. After crossing forty, my father became the face of Vadivelu. When femininity and love come together, a father is formed. Only a father wants to lose to his son. No other relationship wants to lose to anyone. In the Ramayana, Dasharatha also suffers, and in the Mahabharata, Dhritarashtra, who has a bad son, also suffers. The son of a father who has achieved great success, will suffer all his life, unable to defeat his father. How can he succeed, if only by making a good name and winning.
Gandhi is asked to write his autobiography. If you are afraid to cry and think that good should happen there with your heart, you are a god. If you come down and stop it, you become a full god. The father’s mind is the mind of God.
