The music and preview launch of the film ‘Veera Theera Sooran Part 2’, produced by producer Riya Shibu under the direction of director S. U. Arun Kumar and starring ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, S. J. Surya, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Thushara Vijayan and many others, was held in Chennai on a grand scale.
The music and preview launch of the film ‘Veera Theera Sooran’, which will be released in theaters worldwide on the 27th, will be attended by Chiyaan Vikram, S. J. Surya, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Thushara Vijayan and director S. U. Arun Kumar, actor Prithvi, music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar, art director Balachander, cinematographer Theni Easwar, editor G. K. Prasanna and producer Riya Shibu and the film crew were present.
Producer Riya Shibu enthusiastically welcomed everyone who attended the event in her own style.
Lyricist Vivek said, “The most important word in Tamil is ‘cannot’. Wherever this has been said.. a new historical event has taken place. When there was a situation where humans could not escape from animals.. they invented fire. Similarly, they said that humans could not move quickly from one place to another. At that moment, the airplane was invented. Similarly, when a doctor.. told a man.. that you can no longer walk, from that moment the history of Vikram was written.
I am not saying this to praise an individual. For all those who feel mentally and physically exhausted, Vikram sir is an inspiration at some point.
I don’t need to mention his artistic journey. When I was in college, I was amazed by the film ‘Pithamagan’. Right then, we talked to friends that he would get a National Award. Since then, I have been traveling until today, working with him.
I can congratulate G. V. Prakash Kumar for every film like ‘Amaran’, ‘Lucky Bhaskar’, ‘Veera Theera Sooran’ and ‘Good Bad Ugly’. He is the reason why the music world is bright as an intellectual. My thanks to him too.
As a lyricist, when I write songs, they refuse to accept some poetic lines. They tell me to tone down the language a bit. But when I work with director Arun Kumar, I am excited. ‘Somewhere a Tamilian will enjoy this..’ he would say, and listen to literary words. In the film ‘Sitta’ released under his direction, we have used words like ‘Aara Malai..’
