The Tamil action film Red Flower depicts India as a global superpower in the year 2047 AD.
Director Andrew Pandian says that the film has powerful scenes that pay homage to the sacrifice of one of India’s greatest freedom fighters, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and his unparalleled contribution to the nation. The title Red Flower is deeply connected to his legacy, symbolizing the blood, courage and resilience that shaped India’s independence. He added that the scenes honoring Netaji will be an emotional climax in the film, instilling a wave of patriotic pride in the audience.
K. Produced by Manickam Grand, Red Flower sees Vignesh playing a dual role, one of his characters is a fearless Indian secret agent. He is given a “license to kill” and faces forces that threaten the sovereignty of the country. Manisha Jashnani plays the hero’s girlfriend, her character, which adds thrilling depth to the film, is full of puzzles and emotional turmoil, playing an unwaveringly strong and intelligent female character which creates some of the most captivating scenes in the film.
Almas, a new face who steps into the powerful role of the President of India in the film, adds more beauty to the grandeur of the story. His portrayal is extraordinary, delivering a performance that will leave the audience in awe.
