ZEE5’s “Sankaranthiki Vasthunam” sets a new record by crossing 360 million streaming minutes!!
Released on India’s leading video streaming platform ZEE5 on March 1, “Sankaranthiki Vasthunam” has created a record by garnering a huge response. The film has crossed 360 million streaming minutes, breaking all previous streaming records.
The telecast of the film on ZEE TV with World Television Priority (WTP) achieved a record of 18.1 TVR (SD+HD), which is the highest ever achieved by any show in India in the last 2.5 years. Moreover, the film has crossed a record of 11.1 million AMAs (Average Minute Viewers), garnering huge support from the audience across India.
The film, starring actor Venkatesh, became a huge success worldwide, grossing over ₹300 crore at the box office. As fans eagerly awaited the film’s OTT release, it set a new record by crossing 100 million streaming minutes on ZEE5 in less than 12 hours. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Upendra Limaye in the lead roles. Venkatesh Daggubati plays the role of a retired policeman named “YD Raju”, while “Bhagyalaxmi” (Aishwarya Rajesh) and “Meenakshi” (Meenakshi) play his ex-girlfriend. Choudhary) play the central characters of the story. The story of the film is about a famous businessman who is kidnapped, and how Raju returns to his past action avatar and solves the problem. The film is a great entertainer with a thrilling screenplay and a good mix of family, romance, and comedy.
