In the early days of the film industry, when legends like M.K.Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and P.U.Chinnappa sang and spoke their own dialogues, the situation changed and singers started giving background vocals. When Sivaji and MGR gave background vocals, the “Father of Singers” TM.Soundararajan, known as the “Father of Singers”, made the film industry look back with his majestic voice. The number of songs he sang and entertained exceeds 5 thousand.
To celebrate the birth anniversary of that great artist, a special program will be broadcast on Pudu Yugam TV on Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24 at 9 pm.
