To celebrate the success, the film crew met the press today (Aug.9) at Prasad Label in Chennai.
Cinematographer Parthiban speaking on the show said, “It is a pleasure to meet you again through the speech victory ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony. While the film industry itself is in a volatile environment today, a short film called Bachi is successfully running beyond 10 days. On the first day we were allotted 18 screens and on the second day we were allotted 75 screens in Chennai alone. Today we are retaining 75 percent theaters after 10 days. Pachi movie is loved by everyone from kids to adults. The reason for this is the press and the media. This film has reached people because of your support and I thank you for that.
I studied at a film college and joined Ratnavelu as an assistant. I thought I could easily make a film then, but the opportunity did not come easily to me and I have stood at this place after many struggles.
