The cinematography of Gautham Sethuraman and the music of Maria Gerald have contributed immensely for this heart warming flick that showcases a simple theme involving three main characters – Vikranth, Rythivika and Master Harish.
Vikranth works in a courier company while Rythivika does household work. The little boy attends school.
The family functions on a shoe – string budget and with Diwali around the corner, both Vikranth and Rythivika spare no effort to celebrate Diwali on a decent scale but problems crop up and how they overcome and celebrate the festival has been deliberated on a realistic manner.
The second half slows down a bit but the film ‘ s length is minimal and hence the pinch is not felt much.
A small budget project that delivers well that too in a satisfactory manner.
Such smaller projects definitely deserve to be encouraged so that such production banners make more such good movies…
A real worthwhile offering for the festival season.
