‘Vadanthi – The Fable of Velonie’ web series starring SJ Surya is now the talk of the town. The trailer launch of this crime thriller web series was held last week. The web series will be streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on December 2. Earlier, ‘Rumor – The Fable of Velonie’ was screened as a special screening at the recently concluded Goa International Film Festival. The Goa International Film Festival, Asia’s biggest film festival, received a rapturous reception for the web series ‘Rumor’. Written and directed by Andrew Lewis, the trailer of ‘Rumor’ has created a lot of anticipation among the fans.
In this case, Prime Video and Wallwatcher Films have organized a special screening of this series for friends. This special screening has been staged in Chennai with just two days left for the series to be released on Prime Video. The cast and other creators of the series welcomed the audience to the screening. Producers Pushkar, Gayatri, Director Andrew Lewis, Actors SJ Surya, Sanjana, Vivek Prasanna, Kumaran Thangarajan and Smruti Venkat of ‘Vathanti’ web series welcomed everyone.
‘Chujal’ web series directors Brahma G, Anusharan Murugayan and actor Kathir attended the special screening. The show was co-hosted by actress Alya Manasa and Tamil comedy actor Pugha. Along with them, ‘Monster’ director Nelson Venkatesan, ’96’ director Prem Kumar, ‘Don’ director CP Chakraborty, actresses Vasundhara and Kalai Rani also attended the special screening.
As the word ‘gossip’ means, this series takes you into the gossip-filled world of a young and beautiful girl, Veloni. Debutant Sanjana plays the role of Veloni. SJ Suriya, who plays a police officer, is trying his best to somehow break the mystery of this case.
The series is produced by Pushkar and Gayathri under Wallwatcher Films. It is directed by Andrew Lewis. Actress Laila has come to the OTT streaming platform with this series. Similarly, Sanjana has made her debut as an actress. They are joined by Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Kumaran Thangarajan and Smruti Venkat in the lead roles. The 8-episode Tamil crime thriller web series will be streaming from December 2 in 240 countries including India. It will be streamed in multiple languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada.
