Famous R J turned actor, social activist, writer and director known mostly for his rebuffs, retards, and reciprocal punches-all loaded with timely, situational humor dons a new avatar in this thriller conceived and crafted by filmmaker from Mollywood who makes his entry into Kollywood through this flick.
The film stands out as a well crafted, nail-biting thriller, certainly in the first half but the same cannot be said of the second half as the surprise element that is packed inside the unveiling of the mystery fails to create a flutter!
So to say, each and every sequence in the first half draws the views to the edge of their seats with the twists and turns that crop up giving an unexpected jolt as the narration unfolds.
The suspense element behind the identity of the master mind behind the crimes is kept under a tight leash but when the identity is revealed at a latter point, the fizz is not all that sufficient to tie up the knots fabricated earlier!
Aishwarya Rajesh appears as a live entity only for a brief while as she gets killed soon but the suspense block built upon her character stands firm like a rock!
R.J.Balaji takes a different route here to create a new impression of himself in the eyes and minds of the audience but seems to wear the same kind of weary expression right through the proceedings.
The character of Vivek Prasanna seems to have been underwritten. The same could be opined as fas as the character of Harish Peradi too!
The background score of Sam C.S. adds pep to the happenings.
S.Yuva’s camera work too is mention worthy.
