Amala Paul who is a multi- faceted actress has already carved a niche for herself on the strength of her versatility. She has now donned a new avatar as a Producer and has produced this flick titled Cadaver, a spine – chilling suspense thriller which is all set to stream on Disney Hotstar OTT Platform from 12th August 2022.
In that connect, the film’ s team comprising of Producer/Lead Actress Amala Paul, Director Anoop S. Panniker , Screen Writer Abhilash Pillai, Composer Ranjin Raj and a few others addressed the Members of the Media at an exclusive Press Meet held.

There were forces trying to prevent the film’s release…

Trigun, Harish Uthaman, Rithvika, Athulya Ravi, Vinod Sagar are in the main cast.

The Director said that the script materialized way back in 2016 and it was indeed an uphill task to find a producer to back the project and some suggested that we make changes to the script and even make the female protagonist as a male etc
But we stood like a rock and when ultimately Amala Paul got into the project, things were placed on right track and the project started moving forward. Not that it was a smooth journey doing this project as there were too many hurdles that tried to hinder but we moved on till we wrapped it up ..

Once the shoot was wrapped up, marketing it was rather an herculian task till Disney entered the scenario.
This Medical Crime thriller is released in 5 languages – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam & Hindi.

Abilash Pillai, the brain behind the script is basically from the IT industry and his passion has brought him here and he has given his possible best, obviously.

In her address, Amala Paul went on to speak about her involvement in the project and also about her character which is not glamour oriented but a totally different one!
It is about a forensic expert who inadvertently drawn into a crime scenario and she is made a vital part of the team investigating the crime!
