After Thamarabharani (2007), director Hari and actor Vishal have collaborated yet again to create an action packed film that showcases stunts at the drop of a hat! Yet, the stunt choreography is breathtaking with tall order actor, Vishal shining like the scorching sun of the contemporary times in the action sequences.
Priya Bhavanishankar is subdued as an aspiring medical student having appeared for NEET more than once!
Perhaps, to impress the Telugu audience, the film has scenes shot in Andhra wherein Telugu lines are spoken by the characters!
DSP’ s music is upbeat, as ever!
The theme is about a vibrant youth, Rathnam, whose mom was married into a traditional family but as ill – luck would have it, the villains had played havoc.
Rathnam’ s acquitaince with Priya Bhavanishankar’ s family draws reference to the look-alike appearance of him mom with this girl in question!
Samudrakani scores well while Gautham Vasudev Menon proves a scene – stealer!
