‘Vidiyum Kaathiru’… A new crime thriller starring M.S. Bhaskar!
‘Vidiyum Kaathiru’ is the new film featuring M.S. Bhaskar in the lead role. The film’s first look has been released and is receiving a positive reception from fans and the film fraternity.
Produced by P.M. Ravichandran under the banner of Friends Production House, the film features Ayothi Valarmathi as the co-producer. R. Aravinda Rajan, who previously contributed to the story discussions for films by directors Bala and Mysskin, makes his directorial debut with ‘Vidiyum Kaathiru’.
M.S. Bhaskar plays the lead role, with Amjatha Sherin starring as the female lead. Additionally, Gopi Ayothi (playing a police officer), Baby Srijitha, and Rakesh appear in key roles.
Crafted as an engaging crime thriller, the film promises a gripping screenplay that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, appealing to viewers across all sections. The plot revolves around two police officers who enter a house where a murder has occurred and encounter supernatural events.
The newly released first look draws attention with a close-up of M.S. Bhaskar’s face, wide with fear, viewed through an enlarged keyhole. Furthermore, the phrase “You Are Next” inscribed on the door heightens the mystery and anticipation surrounding the film.
C. Sathya is composing the music, while G. Damodaran handles cinematography and editing. Metro Mahesh is choreographing the stunt sequences, and Aishwarya is the dance choreographer. Rajan oversees the art direction.
Filming has been fully completed in Chennai and its surrounding areas. With the final stages of production currently proceeding at a brisk pace, the film crew has announced that the release date will be officially revealed soon.
