Karthi’s 25th film ‘Japan’ – Dream Warrior Pictures; Directed by Raju Murugan!
The shooting of Dream Warrior Pictures’ next magnum opus, ‘Japan’, which continues to make a mark with quality, meaningful films, kicked off on a grand note this morning with a pooja.
Director Raju Murugan has been proving that creativity and social responsibility can work together through his films about characters, their problems, and moral solutions, which Tamil cinema has never seen before. For example, ‘Joker’, produced by SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu on behalf of Dream Warrior Pictures, was directed by Raju Murugan and won the National Award for Best Film in Tamil. Now again the same alliance is rejoined by ‘Japan’.
Since his debut as a hero in 2007, actor Karthi has won the hearts of fans with his popular yet unique films. In 2022, he promised with 3 consecutive hit films.
After 5 superhit films like ‘Sakhuni’, ‘Kashmora’, ‘Theeran Akahamir Udu’, ‘Khaidi’ and ‘Sultan’, he has become the hero for the 6th time under the production of Dream Warriors Pictures with ‘Japan’. The fact that this is his 25th film makes this film even more special.
Anu Emmanuel will be acting opposite Karthi for the first time in the film. Actor Sunil made his debut as a comedian in Telugu and became a hit as a hero. He played the role of ‘Mangalam Seenu’ in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpaa’ last year and played the role of a villain. Sunil is making his debut in Tamil by playing one of the main characters in the movie ‘Japan’.
Vijay Milton, who has made a mark for himself as a cinematographer and director with films like ‘Koli Soda’ and ‘Kadugu’ for 25 years in the Tamil film industry, is playing a pivotal role in ‘Japan’.
GV Prakash Kumar, who won the National Award for Best Background Music 2020, is composing the music for the film. Karthi-GV Prakash’s already released films have been well received by the fans. GV Prakash Kumar is busy preparing to make this film a success in that line.
Philomin Raj, who has been garnering attention with films like Managaram, Gaithi, Thanakaran, Vikram, has taken up the responsibility of editing. National award winner Vineesh Mangalan will be the production designer for the film.
The Pooja of the film ‘Japan’ was held on Tuesday (8.11.2022) morning in a grand manner to greet the cine celebrities. The first phase of shooting will begin soon in Thoothukudi. Director Raju Murugan has been carrying out the pre-production and planning work of this film which is going to be prepared at a huge cost for a long time with great care.
