Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ celebrates 50th day in 25 theaters even after its OTT release.
The Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Varisu’ directed by Vamsi Paidipally released on January 11 as a Pongal treat. The film was also released in Telugu as ‘Vaarasudu’ and was produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. With Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead, Thaman had composed the music for the film. Many prominent stars of Tamil and Telugu film industry such as R Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, etc also acted in the film.
From the day of its release, the film was not only popular among the fans, but also with the general audience, and has been a huge success for more than five weeks now.
‘Varisu’ continues its record of being the most watched film in the shortest time on OTT platform that was released on Feb 23rd, 2023. On the other hand, even though it was released on Prime Video OTT, the film is being screened three times a day in many theaters across Tamil Nadu.
In addition to this, ‘Varisu’ has successfully entered its 50th day today. The film has reached 50 days in 25 theatres across Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the 50th day celebrations are being celebrated in a pompous way by the theater management and fans.
