Venkat Prabhu is one filmmaker who is capable of more of meritorious films with less of flawless that would stand out as a wholesome entertainer for the masses!
Here is a classic case to exemplify the above statement!
Showcasing an ensemble cast that boasts of star names, it is but a challenging task to give them all enough screen space while moving the screenplay in a speedy manner in the form of a taut thriller!
The director has just accomplished that task in a commendable manner while churning out an action packed entertainer.
It is but a fact that the pace takes a different track, especially, in the second half but the director’s acumen in setting it right and leading the audience to a power packed climax make it up effectively!
Naga Chaitanya looks fit for the part and this being his debut vehicle in Tamil, he can expect to start a fresh innings at Kollywood besides Tollywood!
Hope he makes a mark himself here, like the way hid grandfather (ANR) and Nagarjuna did here!
Arvind Swami asserts his class in his customary style while Sarath Kumar establishes his brand of acting, yet again!
It is interesting to note that Krithi Shetty is an integal part of the proceedings.
The background score of the dad-son duo (Ilaiyaraja & Yuvan Shankar Raja) uplifts the tension mode in the tension-filled moments but the same cannot be said of the songs!
A constable in question is vested with the responsibility of being the custodian of a dreaded criminal who is placed under police custody while the department as well as the Government have other plans for the crimininal!
Whether the criminal under custody sticks to the same status quo is the thrilling rest!
