Rating-***
Coming from the maker of Kondral Paavam, expectations were high as this is a suspense thriller laced with action but the outcome is just about good without being great! Had the screenplay been spruced up a bit, the film could have been more on the upside!
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has now shaped into a seasoned artiste while it comes to portraying such characters and she doesn’t disappoint!
Tall order actors, Aarav and Santhosh Pratap do their parts in a passable manner but the former’s character seems to have been underwritten a bit!
Mahat Raghavendra’s performance is as handsome as he looks!
Manikanth Kadri’s score looks fetching.
Shekar Chandra’s camera has captured the intricacies of a police station quite realistically.
The plot is a murder mystery set around a couple of friends who are close inside the confines of a well-knit circle. All hell breaks loose when one of them gets killed while the identity of the killer remains unraveled!
From the moment the mask is lifted off the face of the real killer, the reel scenario loses a bit of tempo but the director has tactfully grounded the proceedings to a halt that is satisfactory enough!
