Thespian Sivaji Ganesan had played a victim of night blindness as a hereditary setback in Thavapudalvan (1972), years earlier!

It is now the turn of his grandson, Vikram Prabhu play a similar role as a youth whose iris has been affected owing to a car accident during his childhood as a result of which he is blind but not totally and can see in bright light!

After having been at a wrong place at a wrong time, he gets into trouble with an an aspiring politician (Dalli Dhananjaya) who leaves no opportunity to achieve what he wants!

How the hero wins over the villain despite his eye-related problems is the interesting rest that is soaked in suspense too!

Vikram Prabhu sizzles in his part and looks good in the stunt sequences as well.

Vani Bhojan as the wedding planner exudes charm while Vivek Prasanna is adequate.

The camera angles of Sridhar warrant mention.

Sagar’s background score is apt.

The title refers to a verse from the works of poet Bharathiyar.
