Prabhas on the movie Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire is a very emotional film

Prabhas opens up about his transformation for Hombale Films Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire

Hombale Films has undoubtedly grown into an important production house in the Indian film industry producing some of the most prestigious films. Produced by the company, Baahubali star Prabhas in the lead role and directed by KGF director Prashant Neel, India’s highly anticipated Salaar: Part 1: Cheesefire is gearing up for a grand release.

In a recent interview, pan Indian star Prabhas said about the film that the film will be an emotional piece that tells the emotional struggle between the characters and for the first time fans will see me as a character in the film.

The film will release on December 22, 2023. With just a week to go, lead actor Prabhas was asked in a recent interview about his toil transformation and the pre-production he did for Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire’s character transformation. Prabhas replied, “Me and Prashant worked together for the film. I told him everything that came to mind and he told me what I should do. I told him about some body language that I thought would be right for the film. He also gave me a lot of ideas. Before any important scene, we had a lot of ideas. Let’s discuss, he said, ‘We’ll discuss the way I approach the character, we’ll have a workshop together while we relax, have fun and talk.’

Later, talking about the experience of working with director Prashant Neel, Prabhas said, “He is the best director I have worked with in 21 years of my life. I was curious when he would call me to shoot. I wanted to spend time with Prashant, rather than going to the sets and acting. This was the first thing that came to my mind. I’ve never felt this in 21 years. I’ve felt this pain for the last 6 months. I think we’ve become so close within a month.”

Pan India superstar Prabhas was asked in an interview about his experience of going to shoot for his character in Salaar. To which Prabhas replied, “Prasanth is a hero-director and if he asks if I can come at this time, he will plan accordingly. Once the actors arrive on set, especially me, Shruti and Prithvi, the sheeting goes on without a hitch at jet speed. When we are there, they only focus on our scenes. So, I never waited on the sets, we told them Prashant, we are waiting, he would refuse, when I came to the first schedule, I don’t remember what time, but the hero was entered, they stopped everything saying we will only shoot the hero’s scenes. I said, no problem, I am waiting for half of my films.

Also, sharing details about his transformation for Salaar, Prabhas said, “I didn’t do anything special; Prashant wanted the character to be fit and I changed accordingly. It’s a common thing for me. I haven’t changed much in the last 21 years.”

Salar: Part 1: Ceasefire tells the story of the bond between two friends. The Censor Board has given ‘A’ certificate to this action movie which runs for 2 hours and 55 minutes. The film has a lot of bloody action scenes and violent action sequences. The ‘A’ certificate stamp reflects the action level of the film.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu star alongside Prabhas in Homballe Films’ Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire. Directed by Prashant Neel, the film is produced by Vijay Kirakandur. The film will hit the theaters on December 22, 2023.
