If Goodnight dealt with the side effects of snoring pertaining to a male protagonist, here, it is a case of reversal of roles wherein the protagonist is a female!
It is a happy start for Arjun and Deepika (GVP & Aishwarya Rajesh) from their wedding but trouble brews at the very first night when Deps tells him that she has a snoring problem while Arjun sleeps light and would come awake at the slightest noise around!
He is in the Media while she manages a stitching unit and initially they take turns to sleep alternatively!
But things don’t fare on expected lines and as they move on further, Arjun loses his job out of sleeplessness and decides to part ways with Deps while she doesn’t want to!
How things draw to a close is the rest.
Both the lead pair prove to be effective.
The second half seems to stretch a bit.
If one opts to watch Goodnight first and DeAr next, gender equality will be established!
A dialogue on feminism is worth noting here – The Lady Judge is such a feminist that she would call her husband Kumar as Kumari!
