Kamal Haasan, director Shankar’s press conference of “Indian 2” !!
Starring global hero Kamal Haasan and directed by great director Shankar, Indian 2 is the much awaited movie in India. Produced by Laika Productions Subhaskaran & Red Giant Movies, the grandiose film is slated to release on 12th July, and the film crew will be promoting the film all over India.

’21 years ago, Shankar sir gave me an opportunity to act in a film. Now after 21 years, my teacher has given me an opportunity to act with Kamal sir, thank you sir. I will not give up the responsibility you have given me in this film so easily, rather than the trust you have placed in me as a newcomer. I hope that I have worked hard for it. This film has a lot of my personal face in the roles I have played in the last 20 years. It was a personal journey for me. Wonderful experience. Thank you sir for giving me this character. As you all know very well that I am a big fan of Kamal sir. He has always been my mentor. But whenever I stand in front of the camera, from above, it is his work and acting that drives me. What would it be like if the Indian grandfather came back in the situation the country is in today? That’s Indian 2. Indian grandfather is going to scream.’

‘Usually my films are always based on the concept of what it would be like if this happened. This movie is like that. The film is about what will happen in the current situation of the country, when an Indian grandfather comes. There is a lot of work involved in this film. Everyone has worked very hard. As far as Indian is concerned, the story is set in Tamil Nadu, but Indian 2’s story goes a little further and is set to take place across India, in all the states. As far as this story goes, it has a lot of characters. Apart from the Indian grandfather, there are many families in the film. I hope this movie will make families all over India think a little after watching this movie. Kamal sir is the main reason why this movie is so good. Even in Part 1, we shot him with only 40 days of make-up. But in this film, she wore makeup for 70 days. Every day at 4 in the morning, I have to put on makeup for three hours and get ready, I can’t eat, I can only drink water. He will work hard and be very dedicated. I am in awe of his hard work. Even if the shooting ends, he will be the last one to go. It takes 1 hour to remove that makeup. There was a thrill when he appeared in make-up in the first film, and now when he came in make-up again in this film, the same thrill came. When you see him on the sheet, it doesn’t look like Kamal sir, it looks like some Indian grandfather is with us. He has lived as an Indian grandfather. When Indian Part 1 came out, the prosthetic makeup hadn’t progressed that much, so it was very dark. But in this film, we told the company that the make-up should be light. So you can watch Kamal sir acting better. A scene took 4 days. You have to act by hanging on a rope, speaking a different language and drawing on your hand. No one in the world can do it but Kamal sir has done it. Many more scenes can be told. It was a pleasure to work with you Kamal sir. Anirudh has put music better than I expected. Will send a tune and say 80% ok. But I will keep putting till you say 100%. Congratulations to Anirudh, who can threaten in any situation.Vivek sir is so happy to see him on screen. Mano Bala has also acted beautifully. Siddharth, Bobby Simha etc are also in the cast.
Had Nedumudi Venu, Rahul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, everyone has acted well. Ravivarman has shown Ravivarma by performing varma in the cinematography. Hello, life is a relationship.It is rare for a film to be remade by the same director worldwide. Thanks to director Shankar for making it possible and for giving me the chance to be there. Mainly thanks to the politics that is giving birth to the making of Indian 2. I am very happy on this stage, acting with another generation. Some of the biggest actors we respected are no more. Manobaala, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek. It looks like she has just acted with actor Vivek. The Indian film is a proof of how time marches on. Shankar is still young. It makes me happy. Contradiction should always be on stage. Ravivarman said that Shankar and I could not make Indian 2 even if we thought, but we have made Indian 3. Thanks to everyone who made this film possible. It is not us who are responsible for Indian film taking 5 years, it is because of nature and corona disease. Above all, thanks to Leica and Red Giant for supporting the film. Subhaskaran & Red Giant Movies have produced the film on behalf of Lyca Productions at a huge cost to set a new benchmark for the word ‘brhammandam’. Indian 2, the original Tamil version as Indian 2 and Bharathiyudu 2 in Telugu and Hindustani 2 in Hindi is releasing worldwide on 12th July.
