The new film, in which Arun Pandian, who has a multifaceted personality as an actor-producer-distributor, plays the main role, has been named ‘Akenam’ and the first look for it has been released. ‘Makkall Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, actor Ashok Selvan, actress Aishwarya Rajesh – director Gokul – actress Ramya Pandian jointly released this on their social media pages and congratulated the film crew.
Directed by Uday K, the film ‘Akenam’ stars Arun Pandian, Keerthi Pandian, Praveen Raja, Aditya Shivpink, Ramesh Thilak, G. M. Sundar, Aditya Menon, Seetha and many others. Vignesh Govindarajan has handled the cinematography and Bharat Veeraragavan has composed the music for this film. Divethian has handled the editing and Raja has handled the art direction. It is also worth noting that all the technicians working in this film are making their debut through the film ‘Akenam’. This film, which is being prepared as an emotional work with entertainment elements, has been produced by producer Arun Pandian on behalf of A & B Groups.
Talking about the film, the director said, ”The screenplay of the film Akenam has been created in a lively and exciting way. The shooting of the film took place in some important parts of North India apart from Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. The background music of the film has been recorded in famous music halls in European countries to ensure that it is of international standard. In addition, the film features national award-winning Odissi dance master Mr. Gangadhar Nayak and his team, along with a large number of North Indian dance artists. The film ‘Aakenam’ will provide a different theatrical experience to the fans, he said.
The shooting of the film has been completed and the post-shooting technical work is currently underway. In this context, the title and first look of the film have been released.
Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that Arun Pandian – Keerthi Pandian have previously acted together in the film ‘Anbirkiniyal’, and this film received a great critical reception, and since both of them have acted again in this film ‘Aakenam’, there is great expectation among the fans.
