Dushyanth Jayaprakash’s ‘Varunan – God of Water’ Movie Preview Released in Chennai
The preview release of ‘Varunan – God of Water’, produced by Karthik Sreedharan under the Yakkai Films banner, co-produced by Van Productions, and starring Radha Ravi – Charanraj, was held in Chennai.
Directed by Jayavel Murugan, the film ‘Varunan – God of Water’ stars Datto Radharavi, Charanraj, Dushyant Jayaprakash, Gabriella, Shankar Nag Vijayan, Haripriya, Maheshwari, Jeeva Ravi, Arjuna Keerthi Vasan, Hyde Karthi, Priyadarshan, Kaushik, Tungan Mari, Kiran Mayi, Baby Joyce, Aishwarya and many others. The cinematography of this film is done by Sri Rama Santhosh and the music is composed by Bobo Sasi. The editing is done by U. Muthaiyan and the art direction is handled by Patu.
The film, which is being prepared with the tagline ‘Neerintri Aamayadu Ulaku’, is set to release in theaters all over the world on the 14th. In this context, the preview launch of the film was held in Chennai on a grand scale. Producer Anbu Chezhiyan, Director Sathya Siva, Actor Krishna, and Chief Operating Officer of ‘Aha’ Digital Platform Kavita were special guests along with the film crew. Producer Anbu Chezhiyan, owner of Gopuram Films, released the music of the film, and the film crew and the special guests who were present received it.

Lyricist Haidu Karthi said, “I have also acted in a small role in this film. With the support of music composer Bobo Sasi, I have written three songs. In this, I have written and sung the song ‘Kolaaru’ about a gangster. A scene has been shot in a single shot for a duration of five minutes in this film. This will definitely appeal to the fans,” he said.
Actor Shankar Nag Vijayan said, “This film has been a long journey for us. The director and I are childhood friends. We have been well acquainted since he started directing short films. The short films he directed have won awards. He said that you should play the villain in the film. I was happy inside. I would like to thank everyone who has supported us from the shooting set till now. Anbu Chezhiyan has been supporting us since the first day the work on the film began. It continues till now.
