The first look of the film ‘Angikaaram’, produced by Swastik Visions, starring debutant actor KJR as the protagonist, directed by JP Thenpathiyaan, who worked as an assistant director to director Pa. Ranjith, has been released.
Based on several true incidents, this film, which is based on athletics, highlights the hardships of athletes and the plight of the sports industry. It is noteworthy that producer K.J.R, who has produced films with storylines like Aram, K/P Ranasingham, Doctor, Ayalaan, makes his debut in this film as the protagonist. Sindhuri Viswanath, Viji Venkatesh, Antony, Rangaraj Pandey, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mohanram and others have acted alongside him. The film, which has music by Ghibran, has cinematography by A. Viswanath, stunts by Peter Hein, editing by Shaan Lokesh, art direction by Ramu Thangaraj, sound design by Sampath Azhwar, and dance by Sharif, and is being produced by Prashanth – Ajith Bhaskar – Arun Murugan under Swastik Visions.
The final stages of the shooting of the film, Angikaaram, are in full swing. The film’s release date will be announced soon, the film’s team has said.
