Actress Aishwarya Lakshmi launches new branch of ‘Thugil’ in Chennai
‘Thugil’, a company that has been growing by selling silk sarees and pure cotton sarees made by handloom weavers in the traditional way and creating thousands of happy customers, has launched a new branch in Adyar, Chennai. Leading star actress Aishwarya Lakshmi attended as the special guest and lit the lamp to inaugurate the new branch and also started the first sale.
‘Thugil’ – This outlet was started in 2022 with the earnest efforts of industrialists Varsha and Jayakumar in an attempt to revive the declining tradition of handloom garments. Through this, not only in Tamil Nadu but also in the world, cultural clothes such as Kanchi silk saree, pure cotton saree, Khotainadu silk cotton saree, and silk dhoti are being specially created by handloom weavers, and a new trend is being set in the sale of handloom clothes.
The special feature of ‘Thugil’ company is that even though the customers choose the color – design – they want.. they also produce and sell silk sarees – cotton sarees with an elegant and traditional style to amaze them.
The new branch of this company was opened on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya on April 30th at Shastri Nagar in Adyar, Chennai. Film actress Aishwarya Lakshmi attended the event as a special guest.
