This is a story that happened in my life, a past story, I thank the loving souls who rescued me from this with love. My brother Balaji Tharanitharan and Rajumurugan are important in my life. Thank you both. Govind Vasantha has given wonderful songs in this film. This film does not just talk about drinking, drinking on the one hand gives a sense of guilt and on the other hand gives fear. This is our society, a guilt maniac society, where both are intertwined. There are many, many reasons why a person becomes an alcoholic in this society. I am one of those who fell for such a reason. I am the one who was addicted for 20 years and did everything in a daze and remained the same. Is the social structure one of the reasons why a person becomes an alcoholic? Severe economic ups and downs, on the one hand, money keeps flowing, on the other hand there is no money. But everyone puts in the same amount of effort. But when money does not come, the disappointment that comes along pushes a person into addiction. I am one of those who have been so defeated, unable to express that frustration. Boredom is another major reason why everyone today is running towards addiction. The reason is that they are unable to face this boredom. This film talks closely about the life of such an alcoholic. The way this screenplay is woven is amazing. My biggest thanks to director Aravind and writer Michael. It is not just a celebratory film, nor does it justify drinking, but it is very strongly said that it is wrong, but he is not the only reason for drinking, there are many people who have said that in this film. Watching this film, my mind is very satisfied. There should be more films like this. Since this is a big story that takes place in one night, they have said whatever they can say in that night. When I was doing a film and it was suddenly canceled, I had only ₹1000 in my hand. At that time, my friend Aravind said, ‘Shall I make a film?’ And so, ‘Good Day’ began with that hope. A conversation we had that day became the seed for this film. Without money, with the trust of friends, this film was created. It was created. Some gave money with trust, some acted without asking for a salary. Everyone Thanks. This story was born from the life of my friend poet Karthik Netha, the truth about his drinking habits and mental state. This film was born from talking to him for 40-50 hours. I came to cinema as an actor. But this film was my first hero opportunity. My director Aravind gave me that hope. He is the one who made me an actor. My thanks to him. The film is about a simple employee working in a banyan company in Tiruppur, who is in a difficult situation and goes in search of his manager’s house on a night when he meets people and incidents.
