Desinghu Raja-2 Audio Launch
Director Ezhil, who made his directorial debut with the hugely successful film ‘Thullatha Manamum Thullum’ starring actor Vijay, has stepped into the film industry in his 25th year. Director Ezhil has been directing popular, family-friendly, and comedy-filled films. The film Desinghu Raja, which he directed in 2013 with Vimal, was a hit. After 12 years, Director Ezhil has now directed the second part of the film, Desinghu Raja-2, which stars Vimal in the lead role.
Produced by P. Ravichandran under Infinity Creations, this film stars Vimal in the lead role, while actor Jana is making her debut in another important role alongside him. Poojitha Ponnada, Juhi, and Harshita are the heroines. The film stars a huge star cast including Singampuli, Ravi Maria, Pukala, Sams, Robo Shankar, Swaminathan, Motta Rajendran, Madurai Muthu, and Vijay TV Kothandam in the lead roles.
Melody King Vidyasagar has teamed up with director Ezhile again after 23 years after the film ‘Poovellam Un Vasam’. The cinematography of the film has been done by Selva.R.
The film will be released in theaters worldwide on July 11th. On this occasion, the audio launch of the film was held yesterday evening at the Vadapalani Kamala Theater in Chennai. The event was attended by the President of the Film Workers Federation of South India (FEFSI) Director R,K. Selvamani, President of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association Director R,V. Udayakumar and Secretary Director Perarasu as special guests.
Speaking at the event,
Director Ezhil said,
“It is not a big deal for everyone to cooperate while acting in a film. The biggest reason for the success of this festival is that everyone comes and participates in such events after the film is finished. After finishing the work on this film, I went to look after the work on another film. But the producer has paid attention to every aspect and completed it beautifully. In that way, we have got a producer who loves cinema. Vimal was a very important reason for the success of the film Desingu Raja. He is going to be the main reason for the success of this second part as well. I have never made a film with so many actors. The script design in this film will be different. It will go like lightning. As Vidyasagar said, one comedy will end with laughter and the next comedy will come immediately. It will be that fast. Comedy has been worked out well in this film. Vidyasagar composed the music for my first film. He gave me good songs then. But I did not know what his talent was then. Now, when I work with him again, I am in awe,” he said.

“I have done not two films with music by composer Vidyasagar, but two and a half films. I have acted in the song Kokkara Kokkarako in the film Gilli. This is my second film with director Ezhi. I have joined director Ezhi after almost 13 years. Before this, I acted in a web series called Vindu, and the place where I am going is not far. All the films were serious. It was at that time that director Ezhi invited me for the film Desinguraja 2. After acting seriously like that, I felt so relaxed and happy when I came to the shooting set of this film.
This is Ezhi sir’s 25th year. He still has to celebrate his golden jubilee. Many comedians should be given a chance. As for Jana, who plays the role in this film, he has never shown himself to be a producer’s son. It was only by the end of the film that many people would have known that he was the producer’s son. He still has to reach many heights,” he said.
