A film production company with all the technical facilities has been launched in Sri Lanka!
A film production company with all the facilities has been launched in Sri Lanka under the name Dreamline. Its inauguration ceremony was attended by South Indian film director Ameer, Lubber Bandu heroines Swastika, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, writer Bava Chellathurai and many celebrities.
As an initiative taken for cinema artists in Sri Lanka, a new film production company called Trimline Productions has been launched by Sri Lankan actor Srisekandaraja in Neerveli, Jaffna.
All the modern technical facilities for a film are available in this company. There is a technical room and a studio for post-shooting work with facilities such as DI, Edit, Atmos Sound with Mix Preview Theater, Foly Sounds, Dubbing Theater.
They have also introduced a lighting unit like the Aeri Alexa SXT camera, Aputure and Amaran lights, which are state-of-the-art for shooting films, for the first time in Jaffna. From production facilities to visual effects studio and sound mixing, everything needed to shoot a film has been provided in one place.
Paruthiveeran fame director Ameer, Lubbar Bandhu heroines Suvasthika, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, writer – storyteller Pava Chellathurai, Traffic Ramasamy film director Vicky, documentary and film director Someetharan, film editor Ahmed, etc. have arrived from South India to participate in this inaugural event.
Along with them, Sri Lankan Tamil artists like ‘Vendhu Thanindhatu Kadu’ film director Mathisuda, Sarigama fame Kilmisha, music composers Padmayan, Bhuvan Matheesan, Murali, cinematographers A.K. Kamal, Rishi Selvam, Reggie Selvarasa, film editors Angelo Jones, Dushikaran, Adhiran film director Dinesh Kanagaraj, Deeppantham film director Sivaraj, Edi Arambam film director Sanjay Yo, Thi Mathar film director Praveen Krishnaraja, actresses Ajitha, Sapna Padukka, actors Gerard Noel, Sindar Amirthalinga and many more artists participated.
Not only these, but also leading Sri Lankan film artists from South Sri Lanka such as Komali Kings film director King Ratnam, Sri Lanka SAARC President Kausalya Kumarasinghe, VFX technician Sadha Weerama, film director Sanesh Tisa Nayaka, Sri Lanka Film Corporation Chairman Sudath Mahadivuluwewa and Sarasaviya Media including Hemali Wijearathna, Nayananjali Degipitiya, Nishanka Wiiyaratna, Kayan Ratnayake, and Jaffna International Film Festival organizer Anoma Rajakarunayake also attended and graced the occasion.
The festival, which was held as a grand event in Jaffna, also marked the beginning of the production of 5 full-length films for this year.
The directors were felicitated by introducing film titles such as Louis, Anthony, Mission Lanka, Sasuvatham, and Thiravi.
Many celebrities who attended expressed their confidence and congratulated Dream Line Productions, saying that there is no doubt that it will grow into a major film production and distribution company in Sri Lanka.
