The film ‘Gevi’, which tells the pain of the hill people, will be released on July 18

ARTUPTRIANGLES FILM KAMPANY ‘Gevi’ is a film being produced by Art Up Triangles Film Company. Directed by director Tamil Dayalan, the film stars debutant Aadhavan as the protagonist and ‘Tolet’ and ‘Mandela’ fame Sheela as the heroine.

Jacqueline, Charles Vinoth, Chidambaram, Dharmadurai Jeeva, Vivek Mohan and Umar Farooq play the lead roles.

The film is set around the village of Kevi, located in the Kodaikanal hills, and focuses on the lives of the hill people living in the area.

The music for the film is composed by G. Balasubramanian and S. Rajaravivarma.

The film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 18.

Director Tamil Dayalan, while talking about the film, said, “When we go to tourist destinations in the mountains, we enjoy the nature there and then leave.

But the lives of the people who live there in harmony with that nature, who are ignored, voiceless and unable to express their pain, do not come to our attention.

We will pass by them. But they will go without coming to our attention.

The purpose of this film Gevi is to bring the lives and pain of such people to the masses. For this, we have stayed in the Kodaikanal hills for almost 110 days and shot this film.

The film Gevi is scheduled to hit the screens on July 18.

A few months ago, director Ameer, who attended the launch ceremony of this film, had said one thing that this film must be brought to the attention of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Only when watching this film, the fans will be able to understand the reason why Ameer said that. They will also be able to understand the pain of the people described in it.

The birth of a life is natural. But spontaneous death is a huge violence against those lives, against people.

This violence should not happen in the future. Those people should also be taken care of. Their cries should also be heard by this world. This film is being prepared with the perspective that they should get all the basic facilities they need, he said.

Hari Uthra Productions is releasing it all over Tamil Nadu.
