The film ‘Aatti’ is produced by Isakki Karvannan under Lakshmi Creations. The film is directed by T. Kittu, who directed ‘Methagu; Part 1’ and ‘Salliyar’, and producer Isakki Karvannan himself plays the hero of the story, a police officer..
‘Ayali’ fame Abhi Natchathira plays the female lead, Kadhal Sukumar, Soundar, Praveen Palaniswami and many other prominent actors have acted in this film. The film is based on the idea that women are the first in our pool.
The music and trailer launch of this film was held yesterday evening at Saligramam Prasad Label. Special guests at this event were Naam Tamil Party Coordinator Seeman, Naam Tamil Party Publicity Secretary Chattai Duraimurugan, writer Sukha, producer and distributor Kazali, director and actor Thirumurugan, and cartoonist Bala, who released the trailer of the film.

“I got acquainted with my brother Isakki Karvannan during the screening of the film Medhagu. Since then, I have been traveling with him. That is how he gave me the opportunity to direct this film. It was Naam Tamil Party that showed others that I had something. Even if someone helped me once, I will never forget to thank them until I die. I will always be grateful to the old Tamil Seeman brother who united us all. A village chieftain or a family headwoman would call her Aaati. Tamils have a lot of female clan deities. When we search for the reason for that, a great historical truth comes to light.
We have made this film focusing on these clan deities. I am very involved in the worship of clan deities. Since the beginning of this film, I have been visiting the temple frequently. First, we will worship the female deities and then go to the male deities. This is our way of worship. Till now, it has been going well with the grace of the clan deities. When I was in doubt whether my brother Seeman would come to this event, or if he was busy, I heard Sami’s voice saying that he would definitely come. Whether he said it or not, he is the black one for our community. It is not the black one who holds a scythe.. The black one who holds a sickle.. As usual, when we finished shooting this film and watched it, something seemed to be missing. Then when I took this matter to the screenwriter legend Thirumurugan, who has been traveling with me for ten years, he made a small change and transformed the entire film beautifully. Especially the last half hour is very special.”

“I have heard the best stories of Tamil cinema in parks and tea shops. But I have not seen them on screen yet. There is something wrong with them. They need to be fixed. Thambi Kittu is the one who can make a big film in Tamil cinema with a small budget. When the film Medhagu was made as a short film, I played a character in it. After the film Medhagu, he must have become a big artist. After that, the film Salliyar, which he directed, is going to be released soon. Before that, my brother Isakki Karvannan gave this film.
In the meantime, Kittu went to Dubai to work to support his family. You are letting the best artists in Tamil cinema wander around like this. I am one of them. I told a story to director Vetrimaaran and it was okay but due to the Corona period, it did not happen. Brother Seeman. I request the creators who have Tamil nationalist thoughts to give up their hands and support them to give the best works.

“You have seen the story of revolutionary women in many films so far. This film will be the first among them. It happened in our ancient times that if there is a problem for the land, women will come first. It was our Tamils who formed the first women’s army in the world. We hold those women as our goddesses. If a town wants to be good, women should be good. This film is based on the idea that we should show the strength of such women to the world.

Are we celebrating educated women now? Everyone is talking about degrading women as if we have kept them as slaves at our feet. The one who has been exalting them for so many years is Annan Seeman. If there is anyone who cannot be brought down, it is Annan Seeman. If it was anyone else, they would have run away from politics by now. Because if she spoke like that, people would think she was a child who could not read. When I was acting in the film Pallikoodam, I wrote in Tamil and signed it to those who came to see me. Actress Sneha signed it in English. When I asked her why, she said that at first I was signing in Tamil. A mother and daughter looked at me and said that maybe she did not read. She said that she would sign in English. If I sign in Tamil, will they label me as someone who cannot read?
