‘You can make a film without listening to the story’ Producer Jesu Sundaramaran at the Kayal film event!

The audio launch ceremony of the film Kayal was held in Chennai.

Produced by J Studio producer Jesu Sundaramaran, Kayal is a film starring Lingesh, Anumol, Gayathri, Swagata, Ramesh Thilak and others. The audio launch ceremony of the film, directed by debutant director and writer Damayanthi, was held in Chennai.
At the festival, the songs and trailer composed by composer
Justin Kenanya were released.

Speaking at the festival, producer Jesu Sundaramaran said, “I decided to produce this film after reading the story. Since I live in the US, I did not have the opportunity to listen to the story in person.
Director Damayanthi had sent me the script and after reading it, I felt the need to produce this film.
That is how the film Kayal began.
I have never seen any actors or technicians in person, I am just seeing them today.
A good story automatically reaches its destination, and this story has also reached such a destination. J Studio is ready to make more good stories into films. I hope this Kayal film will be very well received in Tamil.

Speaking at the ceremony, director Damayanthi said that this story is a story that happened in my life.
Just as caste violence and separatist thoughts are more common in men, films and works have come. But in reality, women have a lot more. Women have played a big role in passing it on to the next generations over time.
Kayal is the story of such a woman.
My thanks and congratulations to producer Jesu Sundaramaran, who came forward to make this story a film.

The protagonist of the film, Lingesh, Anumol, Gayathri, Swasaka, Isaac, Ramesh Thilak and others have all played excellent roles in this film.

Speaking at the event, actor Lingesh said,
This film is a very important film in my career. When I signed on to act in this film as the lead actor, I was thinking about what kind of impact this film would have on society and what our contribution should be in this film. I appreciate the idea of the film’s director, Damayanthi, to film this story. I also welcome the fact that she has tried to make a film based on the events that happened in her own life.
She said that she is satisfied with acting in the film.

Speaking at the event, actress Anumol said,

Damayanthi told me this story even before the producer decided,
At that time, I was busy acting in Malayalam films. I had already said that I would definitely act in this film. As I said after that, I came to act as I said when the film started. Since most of the shooting took place in coastal towns, it was a new experience for us. That also gave us the experience of traveling.
The character I am playing in this film is a very important character and I would like to congratulate director Damayanthi for daring to show another side of women’s true minds.
He said.

Special guests at the function included Director Mithran Jawahar, Meera Kathiravan, Draskimaruthu, Atisha, Music Director Justin, Editor Praveen, Cinematographer Karthik, Actress Swathaka, Actor Isaac, and many others.
