‘Kural Isaiyon’ Bharadwaj!
Music composer Bharadwaj was awarded the title of “Kural Isaiyon” by the Toronto Tamil Sangam at the ‘World Thirukkural Conference’ held in Canada.
Music composer Bharadwaj has composed music for many films like Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam, Gemini, Rojakootam, Pandavar Bhoomi, Autograph, and made all the songs he composed ‘mega hits’. He composed 1330 Thirukkurals, had 1330 singers sing them, and created the entire Thirukkural in musical form 10 years ago.
At the ‘World Thirukkural Conference’ held in Toronto Tamil Sangam in Canada, Bharadwaj was invited as a special guest and was felicitated for giving 1330 Thirukkurals in musical form, and was also awarded the title of ‘Kural Isaiyon’. The Canadian government also honored Bharadwaj with a certificate for his service to Thirukkural Tamil at the ceremony.
Tamil singers from that country participated in the ceremony and sang Thirukkural songs composed by Bharadwaj, enthralling the Tamil audience. Bharadwaj’s daughter Janani Bharadwaj sang Thirukkural on stage. Bharadwaj also sang.
Bharadwaj said that he is very happy that the Toronto Tamil Sangam festival in Canada has honored him at the World ‘Thirukural Conference’ for the Thirukkural music album he created after 12 years of hard work.
Bharadwaj is the only composer who has given voice and music to 1330 Kurals!
