Deva thanks Australian government for placing him in the Speaker’s chair and giving him the scepter
Music composer Deva, affectionately known as Thenisai Thentral by his fans, who has made many achievements in Tamil film music, was recently honored by the Australian Tamil Arts and Culture Development Center.
Deva and his band, who were in Australia, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Australian government for this.
Deva said: “I am truly honored to share with you the honour bestowed upon me by the Australian Tamil Arts and Culture Development Centre.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed Mr. Lawrence Annadurai and the Australian Government for bestowing such a rare honour on me and my group of musicians.
On the evening of September 24th, I was welcomed with great respect at the Australian Parliament, given the opportunity to sit in the Speaker’s chair and presented with the honorary scepter. This moment belongs not only to me, but to every South Asian artist who has spread music and culture around the world.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my dear fans and well-wishers on this proud occasion. Your love and support have been my greatest strength in my 36-year musical journey. I dedicate this recognition to all of you.”
