A heartwarming theme that is centred around the lives of an issueless elderly couple forms the format of the narration. Though Sherief has put his best foot forward, the film leaves behind a feeling that it could have been handled with a little more of nicety and finesse!
That said, the film also deliberates on the working aspects of a young pair of lovers who run an event planning company.
Balaji Sakthivel and Archana have come up with terrific performances and a few scenes draw out tears from the viewers!
Bala is the new addition to the breed of new heroes and with a few lessons in acting, he can go places.
The two sets of couples get acquainted at a 60th birthday function while the wife tells the husband that if they had borne kids, they too would have had such a celebration!
Taking a cue from that, Gandhi (Balaji Sakthivel) goes all out to organize one such event to satisfy his wife Kannamma (Archana).
This is the point where Kathir (Bala) and Geetha (Namita
Krishmoorthy)
enter the scene of action to organize the event.
But then, unexpected problems surface and the elderly couple suffer silently.
The film wraps up with a tearsome climax.
The music of Vivek & Mervin passes muster.
