New crime thriller film ‘Pennkodu’
Jithan Ramesh releases the first look of the title of the film Pennkodu
In Malayalam, a new trend is being made in a very realistic way. These are made without the support of big stars and rely on the density of the story and have reached a commercial level. The film ‘Penkodu’ is one such film.
Men and women are not the same. Both are different; both are separate. Says philosopher J. Krishnamurthy.
What a man sees with two eyes, a woman sees with one heart. A man sees beauty as a quality. A woman sees quality as beauty. Thus, there is a difference in the thoughts between men and women. Women have some thoughts that are exclusive to them. They have codes, codes, and signals. You can understand them only by entering their world.
Based on them, this ‘Pennkodu’
The film, which has been made by a Malayalam film crew, is a thrilling crime thriller in both Tamil and Malayalam.
The film is written and directed by Arun Raj Bhoothanal.
It is jointly produced by Pravitha R Prasanna and Jai Nithya Kasi Lakshmi under the banner of Austria Movie Productions and JNKL Creations.
Arun Shacko, who made his debut as a child star in Jeethu Joseph’s Life of Josakutty, and Sarish Dev, who made his debut in Imai, Mother, and Vincent Selva’s Kammatikkali, are playing the lead roles in the film. Lakshmi Chanda and Sona are making their debuts as the heroines.
Apart from these, Ochaai producer and actor Thiravya Pandian, Karthika Sriraj, Unni Kavia, Epin Vincent, Shamhun, George Thenganantharam, Jose Vadathi Parambil, Baby Aditi, Sandeep and others are also playing roles.
Arun Raja has handled the cinematography.
Dinesh Pandian has composed the music.
Arjun Harindranath has edited the film.
Unni Kovalam has served as the art director and
Epin Vincent has served as the production manager.
Anwar Kapuran, Divya Varun, Bindu Vincent are working as the executive producers.
The shooting has taken place in the lush green areas of Kerala, namely Wayanad, Ooty and Thiruvananthapuram. The shooting has been completed and the post-production work is underway.
The title first look of the film was released by Jithan Ramesh. He then inquired about the film crew and expressed his best wishes to all the crew.
It will be released in theaters in Kerala and Tamil Nadu through JNKL Release in the first week of November.
