Yet another gripping tale of guts and glory from the stable of Mari Selvaraj who yet again toys with a tale that is broad-based on caste- based rural politics that exists since ages between two groups that are at loggerheads most of the time.
Both Lal and Ameer assert their class through their powerful portrayals.
Pasupathi playing the devoted dad of the protagonist is so spontaneous while the fact remains that none would have possibly expressed the way he has expressed and showcased his love for his son!
Anupama Parameswaran and Rajisha Vijayan suffer from want of sufficient scope but still they both manage to mark their presence effectively.
Dhruv Vikram the script ‘s lead character doesn’t exhibit cinematic heroism but he has put his best foot forward while enacting the character of a Kabaddi player performing the role with tailor made perfection.
He speaks less but delivers much more through his expressions and with powerful and power packed characters to back him, he is certain to go places and carve a niche for himself!
Mari Selvaraj ‘s directorial acumen flashes up time and again with precision.
Nivas K. Prasanna ‘s music and the stunning visuals of Ezhil Arasu elevate the proceedings of the plot to a higher plane.
The Kabaddi tournaments have been showcased well.
A perfect treat for the festival occasion.
