‘If Death is Liberation, then Embrace it!’
So goes a dialogue uttered by a guy who is vested with the responsibility of recovering an online loan before it becomes a bad debt!
The theme is set around online gaming and of course, one step ahead, raising loans through online sources !
The protagonist is a jobless youth whose wife is the earning member of the family with a school going son!
Soon after the Mom and Son leave for Work and School respectively, our hero a chain smoker starts gambling online only to lose repeatedly and consistently.
Like a bolt from the blue two men enter his flat and hold him prisoner, discussing, deliberating and debating about the mode of recovery of his loan amount that which has multiplied multifold!
These portions have been dealt with such finesse and nicety by Abhishek Leslie who has transported the film’s proceedings in very tactful manner! His treatment reminds the viewers of a couple of Hollywood movies as far the conceptualizing and crafting the sequences in a classy manner!
At no point does the film sound preachy but drives home the messages, loud and clear!
The nerve-shattering suggestion by one of the recovery agents to wipe off the outstanding loan gives a jolt !
The twist in the climax is indeed the film’s USP!
Joe Costa’s background score and Sabari ‘s camera work are the other fine points of this flick which definitely deserves a watch! A Game well Played!
