The audio launch of the film ‘Irudhi Muyarchi’ starring actor Ranjith and directed by Venkat Jana, produced by producer Venkatesan Palanisamy under the banner of Varam Cinemas, was held in Chennai. Directors R. V. Udayakumar – Perarasu attended the event as special guests.
The film is directed by Director Venkat Jana features Ranjith, Megalee, Vittal Rao, Kathiravan, Raja, Sadguru, Guna, Sathish, Monica, Nilesh and many others in the lead roles. Sunil Lasar has composed the music for this film, which has cinematography by Soory Gandhi. Vadivel – Vimal Raj has handled the editing work, while Thamu has taken care of the art direction. This film, which is being prepared as an emotional thriller focusing on awareness about suicide, has been produced by producer Venkatesan Palanisamy under the banner of Varam Cinemas. The audio launch of this film, which will be released in theaters worldwide from October 10th, was held in Chennai. The film crew and directors R V Udayakumar Perarasu attended the event as special guests and released the music of the film.
Speaking at the event, director Venkat Jana said, “Thank you to the special guests who have come here.
The impetus for this story was an incident that happened in my friend’s life. Following that, four or five years ago, news broke that a businessman had committed suicide with his family in Tiruppur. After reading this news.. I could not pass it by naturally. How would he, a businessman, have died? How emotional would he have been before his death..?” Questions arose in me from many angles. Why not make these people Chiranjeevi through my work… and through this, I created this work to show that suicide is not the solution to any problem.
Many actors, actresses, technicians, and friends contributed their full efforts to this film. For this, I express my heartfelt gratitude to them at this moment.
There is a soul in this story. That is what made everyone in the film act so well.
If this film is based on news, it will become a documentary. If we want to add interest to it… I decided that psychological thriller elements should be added. After writing the entire screenplay, I met Ranjith. Ranjith, who initially refused… after a little hesitation, asked for the entire story. After that, he agreed to act. After watching this film, everyone will understand how much we have missed Ranjith. This film will be a milestone in his film career,” he said.
Music composer Sunil Lazar said, “This is the first time I have stepped on stage as a music composer. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the director for giving me this opportunity. This film will connect more easily with film technicians than with the fans. Because they would have gone through such feelings during their growing up. We are making the necessary efforts for the story. I request you to watch the film in theaters and support it,” he said.
Lyricist Masoom Rahman said, “I started writing songs for AR Rahman in 2007. Due to working as a teacher and not being interested in writing commercial songs, there was a gap. After that, I wrote two songs for the Vishnu Vishal starrer ‘FIR’. I got the opportunity to write songs for the film after listening to those songs.
As soon as the director told the story, since the director had taken up a social issue in the film, he gave me the freedom to write songs. After writing the two songs, the composer Sunil Lasar adapted them accordingly. Working with him was a wonderful experience. There are a total of three songs in this film. One of the songs tells about pain and the way to solve it.
Generally, when listening to a tune, that tune itself produces some special words. But in this film, the context of the story created the words. So everyone should support this film,” he said.
Actress Meghalee said, “I am happy to meet everyone at a time when the Navratri festival is going on. Final Attempt is a joint effort. The experience of working on this film is beautiful. Actor Ranjith said, “Even if I traveled on the road in the Saligramam-Vadapalani-Kodambakkam areas 30 years ago, my heart would be heavy even if I travel now. Because there are many people who wander around and lose their lives in the dream of achieving success in cinema someday.
I have never wandered around looking for opportunities. But an opportunity came to me too. I was selected to play the hero in a film directed by R. K. Selvamani. For this, I was very nervous from the moment I met him until I was selected as an actor. At that time, the directors only selected faces that were suitable for the story. In that way, I was selected as the hero because I was suitable for R. K. Selvamani’s story. The wish and consent of cinematographer Panneer Selvam was the main thing for this. From that day to today, cinematographer Panneer Selvam is my dear friend.
I came here only to become a good actor in cinema. I didn’t come to cinema thinking that if I enter cinema and succeed, I can buy a house… I can earn crores of rupees. My focus goes to good cinema. That’s why I don’t act in many films. However, I watch two films every day. I listen to stories. I enjoy cinema… like I enjoy the moon in my heart. That’s why I have great respect for cinema.
It was at this moment that director Venkat Jana met me and told me the story of the film. At first I was hesitant. Then I asked why I should act in this story.
You can succeed in cinema only if you love cinema. Cinema is not like other professions. You can only be in this profession if you breathe this profession. After that, I explained to him about today’s cinema business. After that, he wrote this story as a screenplay and asked me to read it. When I read that story, I was hooked. Because the life story of that story shook me.
I still have the thought that I should have worked a little more on this work…! Because the character of Ravichandran, the hero of the story, was written so emotionally.
Although there are no commercial aspects in this film, the director has given the necessary authenticity to the story in the screenplay with credibility. I have seen this film. It is good. It is not boring anywhere. But will this film be a commercial success..? If so.. I cannot guarantee it. If the content of the film is good… if the fans like it… I believe that this film will be a success.

They named the film ‘Kodeeswaran’. But the film was not released. They made it ‘Kadaisi Kashyap’. It won a National Award. Therefore, the title of the film has nothing to do with the negative sentiment. So, in the title of this film, “The Final Attempt,” we should not look at the finality, but only at the effort. Not trying is wrong. Trying is right. In that sense, the final attempt is hope. It is a beginning.
