Director @mari_selvaraj : Wish to thank the media firstly. People and the media have placed a lot of faith in me. When we make films for society, the media should also approve. So, when the press screening was being held, I was waiting outside the hall anxiously like a student who had written an exam and was waiting for its result. When the media came out and approved, it turned out to be an unforgettable night for me. This film had a lot of actors who wholeheartedly trusted me. I told #DhruvVikram that you will have to trust that Mari Selvaraj will deliver on his promise. He gave two and a half years and wholeheartedly trusted me. The success Is due to the hard work he put in. I would be scared to meet the actors more than the producers because they had wholeheartedly trusted me and were working under the belief that the film would be a hit. Thank actors @PasupathyMasi sir, #AmeerSultan sir and @LalDirector sir. When I was looking to cast for the sister’s character, we approached several actresses. However, many actresses turned it down because it was a sister’s character. However, when I called @rajisha_vijayan and said she had to do it, she readily did it. She has worked very hard for this film. When we cast @anupamahere as the heroine, we had a different version of this script. It was one filled with Kittan’s love and revolved around a woman who revives Kittan and helps him shine. However, that script was changed to what you see now. So, Anupama’s role’s length changed. I went back to her and told her the script was being changed but felt it would be great if she could still do the role. She graciously agreed. A lot of people have worked behind the scenes on this film.
@nivaskprasanna is a soul who is filled with love. He is the first person who despite getting several chidings from me still loves me. There is a big place waiting for him.

The determination I had in making this film and the determination #DhruvVikram had in proving who he was to cinema was what made this film what it is.
