On this occasion..,
Music composer Sai Sundar spoke..,
This is my first film, my first stage. I hope you like my songs and music. Thank you to everyone who sang in this film, including Chinnapponnu Akka, Kalidas, Sarvesh Annan. Director Arivazhagan wrote all the songs. He wrote them very beautifully. My friend Surya Devan has written a song. Thank you to Arivazhagan sir for giving me this opportunity. I hope you like the film, thank you.
Actor Guna Babu spoke…,
I hope you like our trailer. Chinna team has worked together to make this film. The film Thirukkural, in which I acted, is on YouTube, everyone should watch it. Aruldas Annan has come for us. I worked with him in the film Vikram. I am amazed by his performance. It was a pleasure to work with him. Seeing the black character called K.D., Pari Annan introduced him to Arivazhagan sir. That’s how this opportunity came about. While reading the script, all the details were meticulous. He has shot the film very beautifully. A line in the film that says, “We will rise by trying, we will rise by falling,” is an encouraging line for everyone. Thank you everyone for coming to the screen and watching the film.
Actor Aruldas said..,
I know only a few people in this film crew. My K.R.N. Mapillai, he acted with me in the film Tamil Kudimagan, that’s how we got used to it. The director works abroad. He has shot in his hometown with the money he earned. He can definitely be praised for giving opportunities to the youth who are looking for opportunities. Everyone is talented. The cinematographer has done a great job. The music director has composed good music. He will get more opportunities through this film. My friend Pari has done a good role. Congratulations to all the actors, actresses and technicians. May this endeavor bring success to everyone, congratulations to everyone.
Director of Thirukkural A.J. Balakrishnan said..,
The name of this film is very important. Globally, writing was banned, plays were banned, cinema was banned. In that way, I congratulate this film, Ban Aathu Odhi, on winning. In the 80s, all Tamils watched the film, but today only 30 percent watch the film. The reason for coming to this festival is because of Guna, who acted in our film. He risked his life in a horse ride in my film. His dedication was great. The team of this film has made the film with great effort. My congratulations to the new team.
Arivazhagan, the director of the film Ban Aathu Odhi, said..,
Thank you to everyone who came to this festival. Thank you to my father and mother. We are all laughing at this festival, but everyone has worked so hard that blood is coming out. No matter how much they say about their hard work, it is not enough. I express my gratitude to all the actors. My father was on the set. He said that making a film is harder than farming. If making a film is difficult, how difficult is acting for 36 hours. Thank you to them. Everyone is cursing the whole town for spending their own money to make it. They said why do you not want a job. I am confident that we will win. The reason for that is the people and the journalists. I am confident that they will not give up on good work. I wish actor Guna all the best. All my technical artists have the talent to be at the highest level in Tamil cinema. Use it. I have written the songs myself saying that no one will listen to me in our film, I should pay the lyricist. I will give a chance to a new lyricist in the next film. The film is only 1 hour and 53 minutes long. It will be a big hit, you will definitely like it. There is only one thing, let cinema live. If cinema is a business, if you do not make a film for a month, many families will come out on the streets, but if critics do not criticize the film, nothing will happen. Please let cinema live. This film will make you think, change your life, everyone should watch it, thank you.

Director Arivazhagan Murugesan shared about the film…
This is a very interesting film that tells the true story of a man who was a slave for 50 years in Pattukottai taluka, Thanjavur district, before the 1990s, who fought alone and returned his family to education, and how the changes made directly and indirectly in social media, education and politics in contemporary times affect people. Along with this, he says that he has told the culture, people and history of Thanjavur in a way that no one else has told, and in a way that the people of the rice fields will be proud of.
The film’s crew says that the film has been scripted and shot in a lively way that will appeal to people of all ages. The crew also says that since the film takes place in two opposite times and many actors had to change their appearance, it was shot for two and a half years.
It is noteworthy that the film is set to be released in theaters across Tamil Nadu on October 31st.
