The “Chennai District Masters Athletic Championship 2025” athletics competition for men and women above 30 years of age organized by the Chennai District Senior Athletics Association began today (November 29, 2025) at the Chennai Nehru Sports Stadium (Outdoor Stadium).
The competition was held as per the decision taken by the President of the Chennai District Senior Athletics Association, Mr. M. Senbagamoorthy, Secretary Mrs. Rukmani, Treasurer Mrs. Sasikala and other committee members.
Mr. Meganatha Reddy IAS inaugurated the first day of the competition. Special guests Actor Arun Vijay, Actor Vishnu Vishal, Red Giant Movies Co-Producer R. Arjun Durai, Tamil Nadu Olympic Association President and Film Producer Dr. Isari K Ganesh (Vels Film International), and Industrialist S.N. Jayamurugan (SNJ Group of Companies) graced the occasion by presenting prizes to the winners.
