The title is certainly a misnomer! It indicates that the theme could showcase a tale of love between a Hindu boy and a Christian girl but it is true only to a certain extent.
Kaushik plays Kadirvelan who is planning to go abroad for Job purposes while Parthiba plays Christina who is a college student.
A chance encounter at a Temple function draws them both together but both don’t express themselves.
Meanwhile, owing to family circumstances, Christina becomes obligated to marry a man of her mom’s choice and before that, confusion sets in. Kadirvelan and Christina stand as witnesses to the marriage of known acquaintances and by mistake, their names get registered as a couple.
Kadirvelan starts out to set things right so that she can marry the other man but further issues crop up, leading to a tense filled climax.
The director plays a cameo as an advocate.
The screenplay could have been a bit tighter and the climax more effective.
Both the lead pair have done well and the scenes they appear together are pleasant to watch.
N. R. Raghunathan’s music is good.
