As far as the politicians and the police department are concerned, shifting the blame for a crime committed on individuals who become scapegoats is a common occurrence which is heard of frequently!
These two aspects became the base of the narration of this flick scripted and helmed by a debutante director.
Though a soft spoken and subtle actor, Kishore is a very capable performer who has proved it yet again as a scapegoat, thanks to a corrupt cop and a two -timing politician!
In order to keep his head above the line of corruption, a cop catches hold of a guy who had caught him in the act by recording that delicate moment!
The result- the guy dies while being in custody!
Who is to take the blame?
Certainly not the cop concerned!
Kishore is the choice to become the scapegoat. His sister’s boyfriend takes up the cause and whether he is able to bring those responsible to book is the circuitous rest!
Vasan is passable while Kishore walks away with the acting honors!
Abhirami is impressive!
The screenplay could have been a little more tighter so that the flick could have worked much better!
