Hats off to the writer and director, Sugavanam who has come up with a brilliant film based on real life incidents, a few from his own life included!
The screenplay has been woven around the life of a simple farmer who is very humble by nature, standing and serving the entire neighborhood always without giving no for an answer, anywhere, anytime, for anybody!
There are two bigwigs in that hamlet who are at loggerheads all the time!
Getting the first honour at the open temple of Ondimuni . Earlier, Nallapadan had promised to sacrifice a goat as a return of favor to the Almighty for having saved his son from a crisis situation years earlier!
Owing to the attitudinal clash between the two bigwigs who have been preventing the villagers from celebrating the Temple Festival.
With a hidden agenda, one of the bigwigs, signals green and arrangements go afoot.
All is well and the Temple Festival gets going and the sacrifice is about to take place.
Then there is a twist in the tale in the climax portions!
The director ‘s son has played the role of Nallapadan ‘s grandson and it is his character which brings forth the twist at the end!
Vimal’s camera has captured the beauty of the locales!
Undoubtedly, one of the best movies of this year…
