‘Yaru Potta Kodu’ Movie Audio Launch and Preview Launch
Produced by Dr. Vinitha Govindarajan under Teachers Stick Productions, the film ‘Yaru Potta Kodu’ is directed by debutant director Lenin Vadamalai and stars debutant actor Prabhakaran in the lead role and Mehali Meenakshi in the female lead.
Music by composer Soundaryan and Jai Kumar, the film has cinematography by Johns V. Gerin. Sriram has edited the film. Deena, Radhika and Sivaji have designed the dance sequences, while Mirtal Selva has designed the stunts. Karthik is working as the PRO.
The film, which is made with a socially relevant message, is set to release in theaters on December 12th. The film’s audio and trailer launch was held in a grand manner at Prasad Label in Chennai yesterday evening. Director V.Z.Durai graced the occasion as a special guest.
Speaking at the event, producer Dr. Vinitha Govindarajan said, “Producing ‘Yaru Potta Kodu’ was a challenging experience. I don’t know how the producers of other films did it. But there were many problems in the production of our film. It took the cooperation of many people to overcome all of them and make it successful. First of all, I would like to thank my team. Special thanks to Kalaignar TV Sundaram sir and the distributor sir. The CONCEPT of this film will be very different, everyone will definitely like it. We need your cooperation, thank you.”
Speaking about the film, Lenin Vadamalai, the director of the film, said, “The peak is important in life, it should always be the peak. For this film, the director is the Lord. The producer is the connection between the Lord and us. The director Rajesh Annan, who was my support as a young man at the age of 65, was my last assistant director. This film was supposed to have a big actor and a big producer, but it was abandoned. I had been deceiving the people by saying that I was going to direct the film for 10 years. They said that this man would make a film somewhere, that he would become a hero. I have seen a lot of mockery, sarcasm, humiliation. But I will see all of them as a scene and those who mocked me as characters only. I will only hold my mind and burn it in the sky, it will be safe there, and after the scenes I face are over, my mind will come back to me.
A thousand struggles to direct a film, five thousand struggles after getting the film, tenfold struggles after the film is finished, I will see all these struggles as a scene. I watched it, I took it as a game. I enjoyed it, I studied people. To make a film, you need to have supernatural strength, and those in the director’s office need supernatural strength. You need to keep the energetic people on your side, and you need to keep away the bad vibes. If you keep half away from toxic people, you will get half the success, if you keep them completely away, you can go somewhere. That’s why I keep toxic people away.
The special guests of this event are not those sitting on the stage, but those sitting on the ground. Two composers have composed the music for this film, like two eyes. Composer Soundaryan and composer Jayakumar have composed the music. Both of their songs have come out very well.
I have talked about the good things that people need in the film. Air benefits everyone without discrimination. Director V.Z. Durai said, “Director Lenin is very much likeable, a natural person. He is very simple and spoke clearly what is in his mind. This event is like a family function. Prabhakaran is the one who deserves my love. He is a good person. Capital 2 is a big film, he invested and produced that big film. A producer has become a hero here. He has played the role of a Vaathiyar in this film. Bhagyaraj sir also played the role of a Vaathiyar in the first film. He has acted very well. But only in the song scene, he has acted a little like this. Mehali is my friend, he has met me for the first time. I will work with him soon. Music composer Soundaryan sir has composed the song Kadhal Katram very beautifully. The songs in this film are also good. Congratulations to Dr. Vinitha Govindarajan, the producer of this film. Music composer Soundaryan said, “Who drew the line, what did he do, what happened, when things go wrong, when things happen to hurt, when you are affected, what did he do? This is also a good thing. The reason why the director said this is because he has seen a lot of evil in the society he sees. He was pained that this is how this society is going, and he wrote a story for it and titled it ‘Who drew the line’.
The songs in this film have come out very well. Director Lenin has given very wonderful lines. This is his first experience as a lyricist. He wrote some poems and showed them to me, and I believed that he could write songs. Many people would come to me asking for a chance to write songs, but I would tell them only after seeing if they could. In that way, while writing the songs for this film, the director’s lines gave me the confidence that he could write songs. Accordingly, he has written the lyrics well.
He has told good things about children in this film. The film has come out very well. Everyone will definitely like the film, I request the media to cooperate, thank you.” He said.
Hero Prabhakaran said, “While I had no connection with cinema, we produced the film Capital 2 through V.Z. Durai Annan. Politics is my profession. I do not know cinema. When Lenin came to town, he asked me to act. I have acted without knowing how to act. It tells us that all good things should be told from the bottom up. That is why the film speaks of the idea that good things should start from school students and that we should live equally in this country.
The speech of big actors and their opinions reach all the people. But, if small actors say such good things, it does not reach them. Therefore, media friends should bring this film to the people. I am not asking you this because I want to succeed in cinema and continue acting in films. If we start good things with children, in the future they will live good lives and there will be no crimes in the country, we should bring this film to the people, thank you.” He said.
Heroine Meghali Meenakshi spoke, “First of all, I would like to thank Dina Master, although he is not here, my thanks to him. Lenin sir has worked as an actor and director in this film. He taught me many things patiently, thank you to him. Producer madam was my support, thank you to him. Hero Prabhakaran has acted well. Thank you to Hero Prakharan sir.
