Produced by S. Kamalakannan under SK Films International and directed by debutant director C R Manikandan, the stunning title first look of the film ‘Moi Venuth’, a beautiful family emotional drama, has been released today.
The center of this film is the traditional custom of Moi Venuth that is still practiced in some villages of Tamil Nadu. C R Manikandan, who has worked in films like Manjapai, Kadamban, and My Dear Bootham, has directed the film.
Director C R Manikandan said about the title of the film..,
When I went to a village called Peravoorani, I saw a ‘Moi Venuth’ being held. I couldn’t believe that crores of Moi were coming. A family can only hold a Moi Venuth once in three years. Because in those 3 years, they have to repay the Moi money they bought. Those who do it properly will get more Moi. This habit will help everyone who is disciplined in the village. This was a big surprise for me, this is what this film is based on, that is why we have titled this film ‘Moi Venu’, it is a simple and beautiful family drama that everyone will like.
Archana ‘Urvasi’ of Balu Mahendra’s “Veedu” fame is playing the lead role in this film. Vijay TV fame Rakshan and Ayesha Nayagan are playing the female lead roles. Along with them, Aparnathy, Deepa Shankar, Sujatha, Manasvi Kottachi, Aruldas, Namo Narayanan, Gajaraj, Thangadurai, Lollu Saba Maran, Kicha Ravi, Muruganandam and Kottachi are also in the cast.
The entire shooting of the film has been completed in the Pannakkadu area of ​​Kodaikanal. Music composer D. Imman has composed the music for the film. Cinematography by M. Sukumar.
