Superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster film “Padaiappa” returns!!
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Superstar Rajinikanth, on December 12, his birthday, the blockbuster film “Padaiappa”, which was released in 1999 and directed by K.S. Ravikumar, is coming back to the screen with a new look in 4K quality.
Superstar Rajinikanth has now completed 50 years in the film industry. Superstar Rajinikanth is considered the biggest star not only in India but also in the Asian continent. To celebrate his golden jubilee, the blockbuster film “Padaiappa” will be released again.
In 1999, the film “Padaiyaappa” directed by K. S. Ravikumar and composed by A. R. Rahman had actor Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan act alongside the superstar. Soundarya, Ramya Krishnan, Senthil, Manivannan, Abbas, played a big role together. It was produced by K. Sathyanarayana, M. V. Krishna Rao and K. Vittal Prasad on behalf of Arunachala Cine Creations. P. L. Thenappan worked as a co-producer.
The film Paadaiyaappa, which was released on 10 April 1999 as a celebration of the Tamil New Year, was released in 200 theaters during that period and became a blockbuster success, collecting huge collections in India for 150 days.
The blockbuster film has been digitally converted to 4K quality using current technology, with a modern sound system and a brand new look, and is set to release in theaters worldwide on December 12, the birthday of leading superstar Rajinikanth.
