Films centred around caste based politics that spell raw violence are aplenty but this one stands out tall sans much of violence.
Set in a rural backdrop, the plot is pivoted around a village where the Panchayat Board President has a lot of illegal activities happening up his sleeves!
The arrival of a teacher (Prabhakaran, debut) damages his activities further as the teacher not only stands out as a good preacher of education but a preacher of good virtues and values too and the best beneficiary in this bargain is the son of the antagonist (Panchayat Board President) .
The boy plays a game changer and nurses revolutionary ideologies with an objective of implementing them as well.
A new teacher (Meghali Meenakshi) lands up in the scenario .
The antagonist tries to tarnish the image of the protagonist by talking of their relationship but then he receives a jolt when the real truth surfaces!
Later, the antagonist ‘s son gets involved in a road accident and there arises a need for blood given the fact that his blood group is a rare one!
Being highly caste-conscious , the antagonist refuses to receive help from sources belonging to another caste but then it becomes too late …
The screenplay follows a steady flow and hence quite nice to watch the proceedings.
The romantic scenes are sizzling.
The songs turned in by Soundaryan are catchy.
The film could have ended on a positive note which could have reflected the reformation of the antagonist.
