The teaser of ‘Kaattalan’, a grand action thriller film produced by producer Sheriff Mohammed on behalf of Cubes Entertainments, has been released. The teaser was launched at a grand event held in Kochi, Kerala. Fans, media personnel, and guests attended the event. The teaser received a tremendous response from the audience. Filled with thrilling action sequences, the teaser promises to deliver a gripping experience that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The teaser also suggests that the film will feature breathtaking fight sequences unlike anything seen before.
In the teaser, the scenes of lead actor Antony Varghese fighting with an elephant in a dense forest are depicted with incredible realism. A disclaimer clarifies that these scenes were filmed using a real elephant and not with VFX technology. This character is expected to be one of the most powerful and impactful roles in Antony Varghese’s film career.
‘Kaattalan’ is scheduled to be released worldwide in theaters from May 14th. It will be one of the biggest releases in the history of Malayalam cinema. The film is directed by debutant director Paul George.
The fight sequences were choreographed in Thailand under the leadership of Kecha Kampakdee and his team, who have received international acclaim for their work on the ‘Ong-Bak’ series. The elephant named Pang, famous for the ‘Ong-Bak’ films, is also featured in the movie ‘Kattalan’. The elephant fight sequences seen in the teaser are truly astonishing. The music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, renowned for blockbuster South Indian films like ‘Kantara’ and ‘Maharaja’, is another highlight of this film. With visuals, action, and music on par with international cinema, this film promises to be a complete mass action thriller.
‘Kattalan’ has already secured the largest overseas distribution deals in the history of Malayalam cinema, breaking previous records even before the completion of filming. In collaboration with Phars Films, ‘Kattalan’ is gearing up for an unprecedented overseas release for a Malayalam film. This is the next film from Cubes Entertainment after the pan-Indian blockbuster hit ‘Marco’. Earlier, the first-look poster of the film, featuring Antony Varghese in a stylish mass avatar, went viral on social media.
Designed as a pan-Indian production, this film is being made on a grand budget. Thushara Vijayan plays the female lead. The film also features Telugu star Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, ‘Pushpa’ fame Telugu actor Raj Tirandasu, Bollywood actor Parth Tiwari, and Malayalam film industry personalities such as Jagadish, Siddique, vlogger-singer Hanansha, rapper Baby Jean, and Hipster in pivotal roles.
The screenplay is written by Joby Varghese, Paul George, and Jero Jacob. The dialogues are written by Unni R. This film is being released in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
