Basically a supernatural fantasy drama this is a wholesome entertainer with all the commercial ingredients thrown in! Prabhas who is enjoying a super status in stardom at a Pan India level is showcased as a super hero with a larger than life image who could do anything and everything!
Sanjay Dutt and Bomman Irani are two biggies from Bollywood who have been cast in stellar roles but the latter’s character is so short lived that the audience aren’t fed enough of his talent!
Sanjay Dutt fits the character of an opportunist quite adequately but one would have been happier had there been a physical combat between him and Prabhas.
Of the three heroines- Niddhi Agerwal Riddhi Kumar and Malavika Mohanan, cleavage exposure appears to have been a mandatory aspect and the trio shine and sizzle whenever and wherever they appear!
Samudrakani cuts not so great a cameo but his characterization facilitates the screenplay to move the screenplay forward!
The music of Thaman S. offers some foot tapping numbers and the picturisation of the song sequences shot at some lovely locales abroad warrant definite mention!
Zarina Wahab who was the leading lady of Chitchor (Hindi) besides a cameo in Navarathnam alongside the evergreen matinee idol, M L. G. R., occupies almost as many frames as the hero and manages to make a mark!
The film’s length could have been trimmed down a bit which would have possibly uplifted the outcome!
